Foreword

Article Outline

It is clear that non-operative interventions have been among the most rapidly growing segments of medicine. In this field, the discipline of Endoscopic Oncology has recently been gaining momentum, adherents, and prominence. Dr. Haluszka and his colleagues have crafted a superb overview of the subject in this issue of Current Problems in Cancer.

This monograph is richly illustrated and robustly referenced. It is comprehensive as well as comprehensible. In short, it serves the busy Oncologist as a welcome introduction to a subject about which few of us have extensive experience.
